CAUSE
Cloggedfuel line.
Water in fuel.
Faulty chokecontrol,
Impreper fuel mixture.
Clean.
Loose ignition systemconnec-
tions.
Air leaks incarburetor or mani-
fold connections.
Restricted air intake
Air leaks in system.
Undersized unitfor air require-
ment.
Worn orcarbonizedvalves.
Set screw or bolt not tight
enough.
Tube fittingsloose.
Be sure outfit is adequately
protectedfrom the elements so
as to preventwater seepinginto
system.
Adjust. See engine
manufacturer's instructions
includedwith engine.
Use onlyfuel recommendedby
engine manufacturer. See
manufacturer'sinstructions.
Check all connectionsto insure
tightness.
Check to be sureall connections
are tight,
Clean filteror properlysize pipe
to the remote intake.
Check for source of leak and
correct.
Replace withlargerunitor
purchase a second outfit.
Replace.
Flywheelwobbles. Tighten.
Air leaks.
Leak at welds
Tighten fittings with audibleleak
and check fittingsunderpressure
withsoapy water solution.
Replace airtank.
Do not drill Into, weld or other-
wise modify air tank or tank will
be weakened. Tank must be
replaced.
Ifsafety valve or unloader valve
replacement is necessary, a part
with the same rating must be
used.
